Can the service be further tailored to my needs?
The UK E3 Service is much more than an 'off-the-peg' service. We invite our subscribers to contribute to forecast assumptions and assess their priorities for enhancements to the modelling and the services. We hold meetings at subscribers' offices on E3 issues of specific interest to them, and we encourage telephone and email contact for ad hoc enquiries.
We can also prepare forecasts according to your own specific assumptions,
and allow them to commission scenarios against individual quotations.
Our model, MDM-E3, is particularly well suited to exploring energy
and environment linkages with the rest of the UK economy, testing for
example the effect of environmental tax reform on energy use, carbon
emissions, sulphur emissions, the macroeconomy, and individual industries.
At present MDM-E3 is not available for in-house use, but we are working
on the software development required for this. Users will be able to
run any number of their own scenarios, and easily export the results
to other packages for analysis or presentation.
You may not have an in-house analyst who can invest the time to draw
out the lessons for your company from our forecasts. We can provide
additional support to maximise your company's benefit from the service,
providing for example a customised report on an agreed timetable and
extra in-house briefings.
