How do I access the information?
Software
The LEFM software provides detailed data and forecasts for the local economy,
together with the forecasts for the UK and relevant regional economies for context.
Tables and graphs can be prepared in LEFM directly or by exporting the data to
standard spreadsheet packages. LEFM is designed to allow easy and systematic
implementation of scenarios and impact analysis by the user without the need
for further external inputs.
Tailored local economy assessment reports
A typical local-economy assessment provides:
- an overview of macroeconomic factors and their impact on the local economy
- annual projections to 2020
- alternative scenarios
- analysis of key industries in the local area
- topical commentary on specific issues in the local area
- analysis of the key issues for strategy and the appropriate policy response
Training and support
We provide telephone and email support for all products. We regularly provide training for LEFM users, and recommend that new users attend an introductory course. We are also available to offer support when clients face unexpected requests, drawing on the full range of all our economic forecasting services.
